P stands for Pain and Pleasure

A lot of people must have read Paulo Coelho's book 'eleven minutes'.

The book had an erotic undertone throughout. I remember the director of 'Laga chunri main Daag' Pradeep Sarkar saying that he was inspired by this book. I wonder why he decided not to include the 'Pleasure of Pain' part of the book. For me that was the highlight of the book.

It talked about the forbidden ecstasies which are experienced when one experiences pain. A lot of people were surprised when they read it, not knowing that everyone of us are practitioners of the same. It is just that the barriers of pain one needs to go through are different.

The pure act of making love is one example, where during the act , the two go through a lot of pain in search of ecstasy. But the protagonist also discovers pleasure through another form...and that of pain...be it walking on sharp stones, or using a hunter during the act...or so many more

But it isn't that simple....Tell me how many people have tried to hold their breath, well it does give one a kick but there are groups which have gone a step further. There is a group of people who practise a different form of pleasure from pain act. They hang themselves from the fan for a minute for the extreme pleasure, or like they say ' For a Kick.

Now, let me talk about one special category. Now , how do we feel after a prayer?...a goody goody feeling inside our hearts, we feel cleansed and pure, but thats for normal people. Have you heard about prayers done while having sex...or prayers being done by poking needles and knives in ones stomach?....just go on youtube and one can see so many such rituals...What point I am making here is that these acts were thought to bring one closer to god....its the state of nirvana one achieves that is sought after...

Now lemme ask you ppl to do this excercise....it plays with your mind.....

What you need to do is keep saying some shloka, some dua, continuosly with your eyes closed in a fully illuminated room.. now every time you recite the dua, shloka once , try and rollback your eyeballs while having your eyes closed...you will get a kick. The surprising thing..this act has been practised by certain religious sects all the while...
